Spanish
For this spanish assignment, we had to learn about different spanish cultures. First, we have to go and participate at a spanish event while taking pictures and notes on whatever the event is about. Next, you have to write all you know about the event and answer questions about the event. Finally, you have to put as many pictures as you want with your answers and turn them in.
After doing these assignments, I have gained more knowledge about the history of Balboa park and a new understanding on working immigrants. I haved learned that Balboa was named after a famous explorer Vasco Nunez de Balboa, who was the first European explorer to sight the Pacific Ocean. I also learned about the struggling lives of working immigrant families. These families have to work hard to keep the lives they currently have. But that means that everyone has to work, including the children.

For this project, I had to get together with two other people and create a spanish game. The game can be anything, as long as it involves spanish. The game can also involve math, vocab, memory, or can be a spanish style board game. The game must also look professional and must be able to be reproduced easily.
After doing this project, I have learned few things. One big thing i've learned was a little bit of code for a coding software. We used this program to code our game, buttons, and the scoring system. Another thing I learned was that in my group, we were very unorganized, so I did what I had to do and stepped up, and that was when I realized that I can bring people together. |
